Chelsea Fans Single out Mudryk for praise after Superb Performance in Liverpool Draw

Chelsea fans believe their new signing Mykhailo Mudryk may be the real deal after his exemplary 35-minute show against Liverpool on Saturday.

The Blues beat Arsenal to sign Mudryk for £89m from Shaktar Donetsk in what was a shock transfer for many since the Ukranian snubbed league leaders Arsenal for 10th placed Chelsea.

Mudryk was instantly integrated into Chelsea’s squad as under-pressure Graham Potter named him on the bench to face the Reds, who are also having a dull campaign.

The marquee signing was brought on in the second half in the place of Lewis Hall, and instantly won fan’s hearts.

The 22-year-old provided a combination of flair and attacking threat for Chelsea, and proved to be a menace to the Liverpool defence after coming on.

Despite Chelsea not finding the net, fans had seen enough to know Mudryk, who signed an eight-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge, would thrive in West London.

Manchester United legend Gary Neville himself admitted he would not like to face Mudruk after watching his performance.

“Seeing Mudryk for 10 mins I wouldn’t like to play against him!” He said.

Another fan @CFCMod_ added:

"Every single fanbase should thank us for taking Mudryk because if we allowed that other club to get him it would’ve been wrapped up. He’s an absolute demon."

According to stats from Squawka, Mudryk had 100% tackle success, and completed 13 passes in just 35 minutes.

He also made three tackles and completed two take-ons
