Carrasco-Memphis swap 'complicated' for 2 reasons

Relevo's reliable Toni Juanmarti and Albert Roger confirm Barcelona's interest in swapping Memphis Depay for Atletico Madrid's winger Yannick Carrasco. However, they label the move "complicated" for two reasons.

First of all, the Rojiblancos do not seem interested in letting the Belgian leave.

Second, Carrasco would have to take a pay cut to join Barca and he does not seem open to it. In fact, his intention is to extend his contract with Atletico on higher wages.

Barca understand that the proposed swap is unlikely to happen. They are still open to Memphis's departure but only if they secure a replacement.
