Brighton coach De Zerbi: 'We are ready to go forward without Caicedo'
For the first time, Brighton head coach Roberto De Zerbi has admitted the likelihood of Moises Caicedo's departure.
"I would like him to finish the season with us, but we are ready to go forward without him," he told a press conference after Brighton's 2-1 win over Liverpool.
He also told beIN Sport in a separate interview: "I don't expect nothing. [Brighton owner] Tony Bloom knows very well my opinion. In terms of the transfer market, I told him we needed some players in some positions. I'm not chairman, I'm only the coach."
Arsenal are pushing to sign the Ecuador international who might cost over ₤70m.
Chelsea are one to watch as well, but their latest bid was inferior to what Arsenal offered.
