Arsenal make new £70m bid for Caicedo - Brighton's new demands revealed
Arsenal have made a second bid to try to persuade Brighton to sell Moises Caicedo, as per the Daily Mail’s Simon Jones.
Arsenal are ready to give them a £70m transfer fee, which include £10m add-ons.
Brighton are unlikely to accept the offer as they want at least £80m to let him leave.
Caicedo is trying to push through a move to either Arsenal or Chelsea and even missed Brighton’s training on Saturday.
He wrote a heartfelt letter urging the Seagulls to let him leave after that, but could find that difficult with transfer deadline day approaching quickly.
Arsenal are pushing to sign a new midfielder before the end of the transfer window, as they hope to find a solid alternative to Thomas Partey.
