Alejandro Garnacho is 'close' to agreeing a new long-term contract with Manchester United
According to James Ducker of The Telegraph, a tier-one source, Alejandro Garnacho is 'close' to agreeing a new long-term contract with Manchester United.
The teenager, who has two goals and four assists to his name this term, had just 18 months to go on his current deal.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Garnacho rejected a £20,000-a-week contract as his representatives felt the offer wasn't good enough.
However, fresh discussions are believed to have taken a positive turn, considering he only pockets £7,000-a-week right now.
The Telegraph understands Garnacho wants to stay at Old Trafford despite interest from Real Madrid.
