7 Liverpool Players To Be Awarded MBE After Robertson Gets Recognised

Last month Andy Robertson was honoured with an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). The Scotland skipper was a proud recipient of the award following his achievements in football and charitable projects.

With 50 assists in 176 Liverpool games, the left-back currently holds the record for the most assists in Premier League history. He's so far helped the Reds win seven trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League, Club World Cup, Super Cup and FA Cup. It makes the £8m Liverpool paid to get him from Hull City look really cheap.

Beyond his outstanding achievements on the pitch, Robertson's AR26 Charity helps to provide free mentorship, jobs, football training and coaching for young people in Scotland.

Six other Liverpool players to be awarded an MBE:

1. James Milner - awarded last year

2. Jordan Henderson - awarded last year at Buckingham Palace.

3. Steven Gerrard - awarded in 2007

4. Gary McAllister - awarded in 2002

5. Ian Rush - awarded in 19

6. Kenny Dalglish - awarded in 1985 and knighted in 2018
