"We’ve Received A Proposal": Jorginho's Agent Confirms Chelsea Renewal Offer For Midfielder

According to Jorginho's agent Joao Santos Chelsea have made an offer to extend the contract of the midfielder.

“We’ve received a proposal from Chelsea to sign a new contract so it’s our priority to discuss with Chelsea”, Santos told Tutto Mercato.

“Napoli interest? We’d be happy of their interest, it’s a special club for Jorginho but there’s nothing as of now”.

Jorginho has been linked with a move to Newcastle United and a possible return to Napoli. However, all that is unlikely to happen with Chelsea willing to keep him.

The Italian midfielder has been ever-present at Chelsea with some impressive performances that seem to always go under the radar.

At the age of 31, Jorginho may not get a longer deal at Chelsea, but he could easily be given a two-year deal by the club at the end of the season.
