"We Have To Hunt Arsenal": Haaland Issues Tittle Warning To Arsenal After Leeds Win
Erling Haaland has sent Arsenal a stern Premier League title warning, following Manchester City's vital win over Leeds United.
The reigning English champions hammered The Whites 3-1 on Wednesday night, December 28, to close the gap on the Gunners at the top of the standings.
The Gunners had initially taken an eight-point advantage over City, before the Citizens narrowed the gap to five points after their win at Elland Road.
Metro UK reports Haaland was twice on target during the tie as Pep Guardiola's men carted home the three points.
The Norwegian hotshot has now declared Man City's intent to hunt down Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
Speaking after his side's win over Leeds, Haaland further revealed that he has a goal target that he wants to achieve this season.
"We have to hunt Arsenal. I have a [goal] target but I cannot say it," the star forward told Amazon Prime.
Haaland expressed his belief that he could have scored five goals, but said the important part was for City to win.
"I could have scored a couple more, but that’s life and I have to train more," he added.
