'Those Words Won't Come Out Of My Mouth': Ancelotti Refuses To Call Messi Best Ever

In the latest press conference, Real Madrid's coach Carlo Ancelotti was asked whether he thinks Leo Messi is the best player in history following his World Cup triumph.

"It's hard to say. He's a great footballer. He has had a spectacular career but I don't know if he is the best in history because every era had very important players. These words won't come out of my mouth, I won't say he is the best," Mundo Deportivo quote Ancelotti saying.

"I have enjoyed all players, and now I have a Ballon d'Or winner each day beside me (Karim Benzema). I have seen Maradona and Cruyff and I enjoyed their game."

Of course, it is no surprise that the Madrid coach refuses to call Messi the greatest of all time. But Leo doesn't need his approval anyway, his performances on the pitch and his trophy cabinet speak for themselves.
