'This Was Our Fault': Xavi Explains Why Barca Dropped Points Against Espanyol

"At some point [during the Espanyol game], we slowed down. The tie is our fault, we committed errors. We had to be clinical. When you forgive the opposition, these things can happen to you," Xavi told the media after the Espanyol draw.

Barcelona completely dominated the play against Espanyol. However, the players did not play intense football all the time, sometimes vividly slowing the game tempo a lot.

This was not the first time Barca failed to kill the game off under Xavi. This is something Blaugrana should definitely work on in the future.
