Southgate slammed over key decision that had to do with Saka vs France
Following England's defeat 2-1 defeat to France, Gullit told beIN SPORTS: "Saka was the only one who was really, really good. Why did you take him off?’
"I don’t think [Sterling] is near what he was a couple of seasons ago. Therefore, why would you do that? He didn’t do anything [when he came on]."
Gareth Southgate replaced Saka with Sterling in the second half despite the Arsenal forward being England's only threat. He won a penalty that Harry Kane converted.
Saka scored three goals in four appearances at the World Cup. He is expected to link up with Arsenal squad soon ahead of the Boxing Day clash with West Ham.
