While Lionel Messi is still revelling in his latest achievement of winning the World Cup, Qatar University has moved to immortalise the room he slept in. 

Argentina camped at the Qatar University in Doha for the entire duration they were in Qatar. The Albiceleste beat France in the final on December 18th. 

Qatar University has now announced that the room Messi spent his nights in will be converted into a mini-museum.

 A video shows the autographed jerseys of the Argentina players who took part in the World Cup. The room is serenaded by the famous blue and white colours of the Argentina jersey. 

the qatar peninsula reports that the camp was fine-tuned to make the argentina players feel at home. 

At the same time, Lionel Messi's much-anticipated return to club football has finally been revealed. 

The 35-year-old inspired Argentina to their first World Cup triumph since 1986, scoring seven goals in the process and emerging as the tournament's best player. 

He is currently in his native Rosario, Argentina, basking in their World Cup glory amid the yuletide period.
