Ronaldo’s Medical Scheduled Ahead Of £173M A Year Move To Saudi Club

Cristiano Ronaldo is edging closer to completing his move to Saudi Arabia as Al-Nassr is said to have scheduled a medical for the 37-year-old Portugal star.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left Manchester United in controversial circumstances after blasting the club in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

According to Eurosport, Al-Nassr have scheduled a medical, plus booked accommodation for Ronaldo and his advisors as they hope to seal a deal in January.

If the Portugal star accepts Al- Nassr's offer, he will make £62 million, but image rights and other endorsements could raise this sum to over £173 million annually.

Ronaldo’s chances of staying in Europe appear to have been decreasing by the day, and he now looks to be on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia instead.

Ronaldo to choose coach in new club

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly be given a role in appointing the Al-Nassr’s manager if he wishes when he joins the top Saudi Arabian club, Daily Mail reports.

Al-Nassr are currently managed by Rudi Garcia, who previously coached Lille, Roma and Marseille during his time in Europe.

Al-Nassr’s sporting director Marcelo Salazar hinted at talks with the 37-year-old, and now it appears the blockbuster move to bring Ronaldo to the middle east has taken a step closer.
