Ronaldo on 6-month deal or no January business to cover for injured Broja - which do you choose?
In the Aston Villa friendly, Armando Broja suffered an ACL injury that rules him out until the end of the season.
Chelsea are apparently open to signing a new striker to cover for the Albanian, but the market is skint in January.
As it happens, one of the strikers available to the Blues is Cristiano Ronaldo who is a free agent after terminating his deal with Man United.
Chelsea co-owner and interim sporting director Todd Boehly was seriously looking at signing Ronaldo last summer and a new approach can't be ruled out - especially if it's possible to take a short-term punt on the veteran.
