Raine Group plan full sale of Man United 'by first quarter of 2023' - potential price-tag named

Man United’s sale could be completed before the end of the first quarter of 2023, claims The Athletic.

The Raine Group, who have been given the responsibility of orchestrating the sale, hope to get it done by March or April 2023.

However, the Glazers are still demanding that any potential bidders pay £6bn-£7bn for a full acquisition of the club’s ownership.

The Raine Group have privately communicated that many parties have voiced their interest in putting in a bid.

Negotiations will start at a high number and the Glazers want to get the maximum amount possible for the sale to go through.

The Red Devils could have new owners by next summer, which could help them enjoy a massive transfer window after this season is over.
