Official: Ter Stegen Has Been Named Barcelona's Fourth Captain

Christmas is over but the Barcelona fans seem to continue receiving gifts.

The news of Robert Lewandowski's miraculous comeback has been followed by the announcement that Marc-Andre ter Stegen is the team's new fourth captain.

Xavi has officially confirmed that during his press conference earlier today.

The German goalkeeper has long been considered as 'captain material' by fans, proving that he deserves the armband on numerous occasions. Now it is rightfully his.
