Manchester United Lead Liverpool In Race To Sign Argentina Midfielder Enzo Fernandez

Man United have made it a priority to sign Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez ahead of Liverpool, claims reliable UOL journalist Bruno Andrade.

The Red Devils have made it their priority to sign the Argentine star in January after his heroics at the World Cup.

United are even willing to pay his €120m release clause to avoid any negotiations with Benfica.

Liverpool are unlikely to dish out such a high fee for any player in the January transfer window and have fallen behind in the Fernandez race.

Enzo’s stock rose at the World Cup, where he was one of Argentina’s best players and won the Young Player of the Tournament award.
