"It’s A Dream": Alex Balde On His Year With Barcelona
It's been a whirlwind of a year for Barcelona youngster Alejandro Balde.
Here's how the 19-year-old summed it up:
“Everything went quickly, a year ago I was in Barca B. If someone told me back then that I would play for the first team and go the World Cup, I would have though it's the Day of the Innocents.
It’s all gone very quickly, but I’m absorbing things well. It’s a dream".

Indeed, not very long ago, he was finding hard to get regular minutes for the youth team, but a strong pre-season this past summer changed it all.
Balde had leapfrogged Jordi Alba as the first-choice left-back despite being in his teens. He also made it to his first ever FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
It's not just a dream anymore, though. It's the one that came true.
