"In My 25 Years At Barca" - Xavi Hail Dembele As The Best Winger In Barcelona

One of Xavi's quotes from the latest documentary called A New Era has gone viral.

"In my 25 years at Barca, I didn't see such natural wingers like Ousmane [Dembele]. I always tell him: 'Ousmane, if I play a wing-back, I am f**ked.'"

People may wonder how come Xavi rates Dembele above players like Neymar and Ronaldinho, but the truth is that we can't really call them born wingers. Unlike Dembele, who is mostly about running forward and creating chances from crosses, the two Brazilians are more about cutting inside and creating danger through passing or take-ons.

If we take a look at what players have played for Barca for the past few decades, we'll see that there've been few talented natural wingers – and Dembele is quite possibly the best of all like Xavi says.

Besides, let's not forget how strongly Xavi values Dembele. The Frenchman is definitely one of the fundamental players for his project.
