Kylian Mbappé performance in the final has got everyone talking.
The Paris Saint-Germain attacker scored a hat trick in the final of the FIFA World Cup, and grabbed another goal in the penalty shootout.
While his performance made him the talk of the town, it also got a few clubs monitoring his situation at PSG, eager to pounce if he shows any sign of unhappiness.
One club who is said to be keen are Real Madrid, and Rafael Nadal believes they should jump at the chance to land the French attacker, Madrid Universal reported.
“As a Real Madrid fan, I will sign Mbappé tomorrow,” the tennis great said.
Nadal, who is an avid Los Blancos supporter, also commented on Madrid’s previous attempt to sign the attacker.
The La Liga champions were linked with a move for the 24-year-old in the summer but Mbappé rejected the move in favour of staying in France.
Many were upset with the player for failing to make the move, but Nadal doesn’t hold any grudges against him.
“I don’t have to forgive Mbappé for anything. In sports, these things happen. He wanted to come to Real Madrid but he was under a lot of pressure and everything was complicated for him. I hope to see him at Madrid in the future,” he said.
Football Espana recently reported that Madrid are willing to fork out €1bn for the player .
