Ex-Brazil Coach Tite Robbed Days After World Cup Exit, Questioned For Team Selection
Former Brazil Head Coach Tite was allegedly robbed in Rio de Janeiro days after Brazil's shock early exit from the World Cup.
Tite resigned immediately after his side were knocked out at the quarterfinal stage by 2018 finalists Croatia.
Daily Mail reports that the incident happened at 6 am with the thief snatching Tite's chain before confronting him about Brazil's troubles in Qatar.
Brazil went into Qatar as one of the favourites to win the trophy on December 18th. They started their campaign brilliantly with successive wins over Serbia and Switzerland.

They then fell to a 1-0 defeat to Cameroon after Tite fielded a second-string side before bouncing back in the round of 16 with an emphatic 4-1 victory over South Korea.
The Selecao struggled to break down Croatia before Neymar broke the deadlock in the first half of extra time. Bruno Petkovic however responded a few minutes later to force the game to penalties where Croatia prevailed.
In 2018, they were eliminated in the same stage by a spirited Belgium side.
