'Doesn’t look positive': Potter provides update on Broja's injury
"It was an unfortunate action, I think he got caught up with their player and the ground," Graham Potter told Chelsea’s official website when asked to comment on the injury Armando Broja sustained in the Aston Villa friendly.
"It doesn’t look positive at the moment, but it is too early to say. Fingers crossed, but it is an awkward one."
Broja was injured in a collision with Ezri Konsa, and it was immediately clear that the striker was in a lot of pain.
Early reports suggest that it could be an ACL injury which would rule him out for the rest of the season. There won't be an official confirmation until he is properly examined, though.
