"CR7 Is Finished": Fans Troll A Cristiano Ronaldo After The Ex United Star Joined Al Nassr

A section of football fans believe Cristiano Ronaldo's glittering career is fast heading to a ditch.

The homogenous statement stems from Ronaldo's move to Saudi Professional League side Al Nassr.

Ronaldo inked a mouthwatering two-year deal with the nine-time Saudi champions following his acrimonious exit from Manchester United in November.

Despite the lucrative nature of the 37-year-old's deal believed to be worth over 200 million euros, a section of football fans, predominantly United fans, are unhappy with the move.

According to them the Portuguese star's switch to the Gulf region is a signal of his end times as a footballer, per Daily Mail.

A devout Manchester United fan, @markgoldbridge tweeted:

"Ronaldo forcing his way out of United to sign for Al Nassr is just very very sad. Clearly thought he'd get a decent club elsewhere and has ended up accepting he's finished."

@Desmund_Oris made a mockery of Ronaldo's move to Al Nassr with a Messi dig:

 "They said Messi is playing in the farmers league, now Ronaldo would play in a league that only exists on paper who is finished now?"

@iLatif_ added:

"Ronaldo fans will be watching the Saudi Arabian league. Finished man."

@Ifeme_KD argued:

"Ronaldo fans should just accept their goat is finished and stop using his age as an excuse. Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva are still dominating at 41 and 38 years."

@UgoOsinobi joined the bandwagon to tag CR7 as finished:

 "It's now been made official. Cristiano Ronaldo is finished!

Man United Reject CR7 Signs For Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo on Friday signed for Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia, the club announced, in a deal believed to be worth more than 200 million euros.

The 37-year-old penned a contract which will take him to June 2025.

Ronaldo heads to the Gulf after a year that saw him relegated to the bench for Portugal and cut adrift by Manchester United.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner was officially announced as the latest signing of Al Nassr on Friday evening after he signed a mouthwatering deal to June 2025.

Ronaldo's move to the Middle East brings an end to speculations surrounding his future after he prematurely ended his stint with Manchester United just before the 2022 World Cup.
