Benzema sends cryptic message amid rumours about France return for World Cup final

There is a possibility that we'll see Karim Benzema in Qatar for the 2022 World Cup final between France and Argentina.

The Real Madrid striker wasn't excluded from the squad list despite his injury, and now that he's recovered, he can theoretically be called up for the game. If not, Benzema could at the very least be invited to watch the final as he would be entitled to a medal even without playing.

However, it appears that Karim wants the fans to know that he has other priorities at the moment.

"I'm not interested," the Frenchman has captioned a selfie of his on Instagram.

Of course, we cannot say for sure that this is the message Benzema is trying to convey.

This would be a normal reaction, though, as the striker's focus now should be on having a good second half of the season with Real Madrid as club competitions are set to resume in two weeks.
