Bayern Munich still monitoring Frenkie De Jong

According to Diario Sport's Miguel Sanz, Bayern Munich are still monitoring the situation of Frenkie De Jong at Barcelona.

De Jong has made it clear that he wants to stay at Barcelona and the club rubberstamped his stance by stating he's no longer in the market, but his salary remains a problem.

This summer, De Jong would become Barca's highest earner. In fact, his salary could prevent the club from making any new signings. As a result, Barca are likely to ask De Jong to lower his salary once again.

The Dutchman has already lowered his salary twice and is currently receiving deferred wages. Asking him to reduce his salary a third time may brew problems for the Blaugrana.

Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea would all be willing to shoulder his wages and even pay him higher than he earns at Barca.
