Arsenal Increase Lead Over City After 4 -2 Win Over Bright: Premier League standings After Last Games In 2022

In the final Premier League game of 2022, Arsenal defeated Brighton 4-2 thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli.

Hours earlier, Man City unexpectedly dropped two points as they drew 1-1 with Everton.

Third-placed Newcastle also could not win tonight: their game with Leeds United ended goalless.

As a result, Arsenal have a seven-point lead now over Man City at the top of the Premier League table going into the new year.
