Xavi reveals what managerial job he rejected before taking over Barca -- it's a big one
In his recent interview with ESPN, Xavi has opened up on the managerial job he had been offered before taking over Barcelona.
"It was an opportunity through the president of the Brazilian Federation. They went to Qatar and talked to me so I could be part of Tite's staff.
It was a tremendous opportunity to make history, to be the first European to work in the selection of Brazil. But at that moment, it didn't happen.
I had it clear that I wanted to be coach of Barcelona. It was my dream, and here I am".
Since his appointment just over a year ago, Barсa have recorded 34 wins and 11 draws in 57 games under Xavi's command.
We top La Liga by a two-point margin this term.
