'We suffered a lot': Xavi rates Barca's performance vs Viktoria Plzen

"I am satisfied with some things, not so much with other things. We did OK in the first half but we suffered a lot after," Xavi said after the game against Plzen.

"We gave away a lot of unnecessary fouls. Viktoria were very intense and we gave away more chances than normal. We suffered from corners, set plays.

"We knew it would be difficult. I liked how the team attacked, but we gave up too much in defence," Xavi adds.

Barcelona defeated Plzen 4-2 in a tense encounter in the Czech Republic.

The win was meaningless in the grand scheme of teams as both teams already secured third and fourth positions in the group even before a ball was kicked.
