Ronaldo: 'I'd be happy to see Arsenal win the Premier League if Man United doesn’t’

Cristiano Ronaldo has named Arsenal to be the team he’ll be rooting for to win the Premier League this season, apart from Man United.

He told Piers Morgan: “I hope so (United win the title). Manchester first, and if not, Arsenal is some team that I like to see play.

“I like the team. I like the coach. I think they have a good team. And if Manchester United don’t win the Premier League, I will be happy if Arsenal do.”

Ronaldo has praised the evolution of Arsenal earlier on in his interview, claiming that they’re among the clubs to have reached the top of English football.

The Portuguese forward is likely to be put up for sale in January, but it remains to be seen if the Gunners make a move for him or not.
