Rafael Leao's father namechecks Madrid as possible destination for attacker

"Leao's renewal with Milan? There is time. We have until 2024," Antonio Leao, the father of AC Milan forward Rafael, told Record.

"We will take care of everything... Even of Real Madrid, Barça and Chelsea. Although my son is happy in Italy."

Leao has scored 34 goals and provided 30 assists in 135 appearances for AC Milan so far. He was named Serie A Player of the Season last term.

This season, the 23-year-old is on six goals and five assists in 14 league matches.

The problem with signing Leao is that he owes €19m to his former club Sporting, and reportedly expects a club that will sign him to pay the fee.
