Man United 'preparing for life without' Ronaldo — 2 alternatives identified

Cristiano Ronaldo is nearing an exit from Manchester United this January, reports The Telegraph's Mike McGrath.

The club are 'preparing for life without' the 37-year-old and have identified two possible transfer options.

The Telegraph understands Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is on the list along with RB Salzburg man Benjamin Sesko.

Sesko, 19, could cost over £40 million while Vlahovic was the replacement Juve signed when Ronaldo left.

Both players are almost on par with the number of goals they've scored this season, with Sesko on six strikes and Vlahovic with seven.

As far as Ronaldo is concerned, United are unlikely to extend his stay after his attempts to force an exit last summer.
