Man United have 'agreement in principle' to sign Cody Gakpo in January
According to Football Insider, an average source, Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven in January.
Erik ten Hag has reportedly spoken to Gakpo in hopes of persuading him to join in the winter.
The Red Devils are believed to have an 'agreement in principle' with the player after failing to sign Gakpo over the summer.
Cody, 23, is eager to move to the Premier League and is believed to be excited by Ten Hag's project at United.
However, PSV are do not want to sell him in the winter window and believe they could command a higher fee if Cody impresses in the World Cup.
The young forward already has scored two goals in two appearances for the Netherlands in Qatar.
