Liverpool ownership expected to change hands in 2023 - James Pearce
Liverpool enter a period of uncertainty as the club ownership is expected to change hands in 2023, according to The Athletic's James Pearce.
The club is already facing some personnel turnover, with sporting director Julian Ward and director of research Ian Graham leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
FSG president Mike Gordon who played a key role in the day-to-day management of the club has stepped back from his role as well to focus on the potential sale.
Jurgen Klopp is one of the few persons whose position is certain beyond next year. The German has a contract with Liverpool until 2026 and has no intention to leave before that.
