France decide not to call up replacement for Benzema as injured striker already back in Madrid
Talking to the press, France's coach Didier Deschamps confirmed that he will not call up a new striker to replace Karim Benzema.
As a reminder, the Real Madrid striker has been ruled out of the World Cup due to a thigh injury.
Meanwhile, Benzema has already been spotted back in Madrid.
As per prior reports, the Frenchman will spend three weeks on the sidelines.
The Madrid players not involved in the World Cup are set to return to training on December 1. We play our first game after the break on December 31.
