Chelsea announces date and venue for first friendly during World Cup

Chelsea have confirmed that they will face Aston Villa in Abu Dhabi during the World Cup.

Date: 1th December 2022

Time: 2.10PM UK time.

Venue: Al Nahyan Stadium, UAE

This will be Chelsea's first game since their 1-0 defeat against Newcastle earlier in November.

The game will allow Chelsea to keep the players who were not invited to play for their country at the World Cup.

Chelsea have 12 players at the World Cup, not including loanees who were invited like Romelu Lukaku, Ethan Ampadu and Baba Rahman.
