Ancelotti reveals one 'advantage' his son Davide has over other assistants at Madrid

In his interview with Rai, Carlo Ancelotti was asked to comment on the relationship with his son Davide, who is also his assistant coach at Real Madrid.

"He has one advantage over other assistants in the staff. He says some things that others do not dare to say out of respect or fear of me. And as a coach, I need honesty," the Italian said. (h/t Diario Sport)

"I always listen because I have always preferred listening over talking."

Unlike his father, Davide did not have a successful career as a player. He retired at the age of 22 to gain a degree in sports science and has been working as Carlo's assistant since 2016.
