AC Milan striker Ibrahimovic reveals French football collapsed after he left
AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has taken aim at French football.
It's been six years since the Swede left PSG for Manchester United and he insists Ligue Une has never fully recovered.
Speaking to Canal+, Ibrahimovic said: "Since I left France everything collapsed.
"They no longer have anything to talk about. France needs me, but I don't need France. The fact that you have (Kylian) Mbappe, Neymar and (Lionel) Messi doesn't help."
Asked about his forceful statement, Ibra, who is recovering from knee surgery at Milan, replied with a smile: "Because you don't have God."
