Xavi names one player that impressed him vs Bayern -- it's not Lewandowski

The Barcelona players had one of those nights you want to forget asap against Bayern Munich last night.

However, Alejandro Balde was one of the bright sparks in an otherwise dire performance from Barca.

Although he was not able to make a major impact, his efforts and work ethic out wide did impress Xavi, Spanish journalist Javi Miguel reports.

The 18-year-old’s progress has seen him emerge as a contender for a spot in Spain’s squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, while a new contract is also believed to be on the horizon for the La Masia product.
