'We can play exactly the same and do better': Klopp plays down need for sweeping changes

"No, we don’t have the time," Jurgen Klopp told a press conference when asked if he will be working on some tactical changes ahead of the Rangers game.

"Yes, we can improve. We can play exactly the same and do better, that is already a fix.

"If we can do something (else), we will do, to make it easier for the boys. That is always the job, it is the same job I had when you win 12 games in a row. You have to stay on top and work on the details. That is what we do now, just with a different confidence level.

"Usually when you win a lot of games, not everything goes your way, but there is no impact. We may have made a mistake but no one has it in their mind. (Now) we lose the ball, they have a chance. That is different in the moment."

Liverpool have had a tough start to the season: they are already 11 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal and 10 points behind Man City, the main title contenders.

The Rangers game is a must-win game for Liverpool as they are fighting to secure a place in the Champions League knockout stage.
