The XI we had v Forest was absolutely fine: Klopp defends his Squad Selection

Liverpool suffered a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest. Jones, Milner, Gomez and Carvalho all started against Forest due to injuries to first-choice players in their positions.

"Standing here with nothing [no points] feels really bad," Jurgen Klopp told Viaplay after the Forest game.

"It affects everything - but the XI we had was absolutely fine - we were just not used to it.

"It was clear we would not fly through this game but you have to use your chances.

"It's not easy with all the injuries. You have new players every game but it's the same for every team. We have a squad full of good players but it's hard when you can't get rhythm as a team. We have to deal with it better than we are."
