Ten Hag provides a worrisome report on Van de Beek and Wan-Bissaka while ruling Martial out of the Omonia Nicosia match.

Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial will not be able to play against Omonia Nicosia after getting injured in the win over Everton on Sunday.

He said: “Martial is Not [training] today. We will see how he develops to Sunday. Of course, I want him in, sometimes it's disappointing when they aren't available because I know we need him. When they aren't, you have to deal with the situation.

“Harry [Maguire] is out. And longer-term Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.”

It appears that Van de Beek and Wan-Bissaka might’ve suffered their injuries in training, that is why they haven’t featured for the Red Devils in the last few weeks.

With so many players injured, Ten Hag might be forced to play some youngsters against Omonia along with a good mix of first-teamers to get the win.
