Rodrygo, Militao receives Spanish passports – what it means for Madrid's pursuit of Bellingham

Rodrygo and Eder Militao have both received their Spanish passport to become citizens of Spain, according to COPE.

With the two Brazilians becoming full Spanish citizens Real Madrid now have all three non-EU spots available.

What that means is that Los Blancos can sign players from outside Spain like Jude Bellingham next season and add him to one of the available non-EU slots.

Also, Madrid can sign Endrick and promote home to the first team immediately. They could also promote Vinicius Tobias to the first team to occupy one of the free non-EU slots.

Back in September, Vinicius Jr received his Spanish EU passport.
