Rodrygo fuming at Panini for excluding him from Brazil's squad in sticker album
Rodrygo was left out of Brazil's squad in Panini's renowned sticker album ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Speaking to TNT Sport, he said: "If a player is at Real Madrid and he is doing things well, he has more chances (of going to the World Cup). But I have to work because the competition is very high".
"Of course (I was frustrated about not being in the album), I had to be. Put the lightning in the album. It's a dirty trick!".
The youngster's frustration is understandable. Anyone playing at such a high level for years now would be pretty pissed deep down for not getting recognized. And even as a sub he's still a vital part of the squad.
But the thing is, the album has only 18 players per team and they have to distribute somewhat evenly between positions. With the likes of Neymar, Vinicius Jr, Raphinha, Antony, Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino it's hard to put them all in there.
