Florentino Perez has had a minor operation on his lung earlier on Tuesday morning in Madrid, reports Football Espana.
The surgery went successfully with papa Perez expected to return to full health in a matter of weeks.
Florentino Perez is 75 years old making him one of football's oldest club presidents at the moment.
Still, Perez remains a meticulous and respected football administrator having led Real Madrid as president for four different tenors spanning from mid-2000.
The septuagenarian has guided Real Madrid to more than 30 trophies including six Champions League titles.
