Man City allege Liverpool fans threw coins at Guardiola, will file official complaint

As per The Telegraph, Manchester City are set to lodge an official complaint against Liverpool fans to the Premier League.

City allege some among the Anfield faithful threw coins at Pep Guardiola, which led to his war of words with the home crowd.

They claim 'missiles' were aimed at Guardiola after Phil Foden's goal was called off by VAR.

The Telegraph understands the Football Association will probe the matter once the complaint is filed.

City ended up the losing side, however, as a Mo Salah goal was enough for the Reds to bag three points.
