Liverpool set to take on AC Milan in glamour friendly during World Cup

As per The Mirror, Liverpool and Arsenal are both going to be involved in glamour friendlies against AC Milan and other clubs, while the World Cup is on in Qatar.

Their warm weather training camps in Dubai could allow the players uninvolved in the World Cup to keep up their match fitness, while also having returning players join in.

The biggest concern for Klopp would be injuries, if any, sustained by players in the World Cup. The likes of Fabinho, Firmino, Alisson and Van Dijk are all parts of strong contingents that could go deep into the tournament.

Club football resumes on 26th December, less than a week after the World Cup final. Liverpool will take on Aston Villa in the Premier League on that day.
