Liverpool making attempt to hijack Nkunku transfer
As per The Sun, Liverpool are trying to hijack Chelsea's move for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku.
It had been reported earlier that Chelsea have already had a medical with the for the player this summer, which was kept under wraps.
There have also been reports claiming that personal terms have been agreed upon by the player and he is keen on the move to Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the attacker as per the Sun's reports.
The source of the reports isn't the most reliable and with Liverpool already splashing the cash on Darwin Nunez and bringing in Fabio Carvalho, it doesn't look to likely they'd blow up more money on an attacker.
Considering their frailties in midfield and their longstanding interest in Jude Bellingham (who will also be very expensive), it is hard to see why and how Liverpool would aggressively pursue Nkunku.
