Laporta's recent revelation 'upset' Barcelona's locker room: explained

Joan Laporta's recent words about some Barcelona players refusing to accept a pay cut have reached the team's locker room, reports Toni Juanmarti.

Most players are now 'upset' because of the time those words were said. The team badly need to stay united ahead of difficult games in the Champions League and La Liga.

As a reminder, Laporta noted that the board members had to take the money out of their own pockets to guarantee Jules Kounde's registration.

No doubt, this was a nail in the coffin of Barca veterans who didn't agree to lower their salary in the summer.
