'It was fair to disallow the goal': Inter boss Inzaghi on handball saga

"I saw Xavi before and after the match. He is a great manager and a great person," Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi started in his post-match comments.

On the handball saga, Inzaghi said: "I think he was referring to situations that I have not seen. Ansu handled the ball and it was fair to disallow the goal.

“The victory gives us confidence. We needed it. We know that we that we have not achieved anything but we gave the fans a great night,” Inzaghi added.

There were two handball decisions against Ansu in the game at Inter. First was the handball in the build-up to the Pedri goal - which is what Inzaghi is referring to.

There was also another handball against Fati for the penalty shout against Dumfries.

Both decisions are debatable - take that away and Barca could've beaten Inter.
