'It doesn't look good for both': Klopp confirms Trent and Diaz injuries, Colombian leaves stadium on crutches

Luis Diaz was forced off the pitch in the first half after a tangle with Thomas Partey. Trent Alexander-Arnold picked up an injury, too, and was taken off at half-time.

Jurgen Klopp told the BBC about Trent: "He is injured unfortunately. Like Luis Diaz as well, it doesn't look good for both. That is the icing on the cake."

According to The Athletic journalist James McNicholas, Luis Diaz's injury could be serious.

"Luiz Diaz has just left the Emirates using crutches and wearing a knee brace," McNicholas tweeted.

The Colombian was one of the best players on the pitch for Liverpool, providing an assist to Darwin Nunez.
